Isaac and Sarah Hewitt married in 1829 and were at Coppock House in 1841 before moving to Parsonage House in Church Lane (presumably this became the Rectory). Isaac died in 1853 but Sarah was there until after 1881. Their son, also Isaac, born in 1829 lived at Key House with his wife Mary and then (presumably second wife) Sarah. His son John born in 1865 married Annette in 1898 and took over the farm after 1891. John's brother married Alice Stockton from Barnton and lived at Breach House. A third brother, James married Hannah and moved to Burnage.

The other major Hewitt line started with Ralph and Mary who were at Dairy House in 1841. Ralph died in 1850 and Mary married a widower, Enoch Simcock. Ralph and Mary's son James, born in 1821 married Sarah Ann Frost and lived at Barlow House. Their son James born in 1856 married Ann in 1892 and they lived at Hall Bank. Samuel born in 1847 married Sarah Ann Elizabeth High ( born in Norfolk) and they too lived at Hall Bank. Peter born in 1849 married Mary in 1880 and they lived on Wood Lane.  Joseph born in 1852 married Elizabeth , also from Norfolk), the third Hewitt family on Hall Bank, all brothers. Joseph and Elizabeth's son Austin married Emily Sumner in 1908 and they lived at Swiss Cottage. Austin's sister Jessica married Arthur Caveney in 1921.
